蓖麻新品种汾蓖10号是山西省农业科学院经济作物研究所以雌性系04MF-36-16为母本，以恢复系04S9-31为父本配制的杂交种。在2008年和2010年山西省蓖麻区域试验中，2 a折合平均产量2 275.5 kg/hm2，较对照品种晋蓖麻2号(折合平均产量2 144.7 kg/hm2)增产6.1%。脂肪酸含量68.25，出仁率73%，生育期112 d，适宜于山西、吉林、陕西、甘肃、内蒙古、新疆等省(区)无霜期120 d以上区域种植。
