陇糜12号是甘肃省农业科学院作物研究所1994年以单34为母本，以系选优系8738-1-1-2-4-2为父本有性杂交，经过多年水旱穿梭和多点鉴定育成的高产稳产糜子新品种。在2013 — 2014年进行的甘肃省糜子品种多点区域试验中，陇糜12号平均折合产量为3 739.35 kg/hm2，较对照品种陇糜10号增产10.04%。生育期115～123 d，株高163.1 cm，穗长34.6 cm，单株有效穗数1.1个，单株穗重9.24 g，单穗粒重7.01 g，千粒重8.5 g，出谷率75.87%。籽粒(黄米)含水分10.57%(干基)、粗蛋白16.52%(干基)、粗脂肪3.98%(干基)、粗淀粉75.12%(干基)、赖氨酸0.29%(干基)、铁47.4 mg/kg(干基)。高抗黑穗病。适宜在甘肃省庆阳、平凉、白银、定西等地及其相似生态区海拔1 650～1 900 m的地区春播，也可在海拔1 200～1 400 m的地区夏播复种。

Longmi 12 is a newly bred broomcorn millet cultivar with high and stable yield by crossing between Dan 34 as female parent and line 8738-1-1-2-4-2 as male parent used pedigree method and bred between water and dry land after years of multi-environment identification in 1994. In 2011 — 2013， the average yield reaches 3 739.35 kg/hm2， which is 10.04% higher than that of the check Longmi 10 in Millet cultivar multi-point test in Gansu province. The result shows that the growth period is 115～123 d， plant height is 163.1 cm， panicle length is 34.6 cm， main stem diameter is 0.60 cm， main stem node number is 6.3， effective panicle number is 1.1， panicle weight is 9.24 g, grain weight per plant is 7.01 g， 1 000 grain weight with is 8.5 vg， straw weight per plant is 11.7 g， percentage of grain weight per spike is 75.87%.The result indicates that the moisture content is 10.57%， crude protein content is 16.52%， crude fat is 3.98%， starch content is 75.12%， lysine content is 0.29%， iron content is 47.4 mg/kg. It is suitable to be grown in spring in Qingyang, Pingliang， Baiyin, Dingxi of Gansu and other similar ecological areas with altitude of 1 650 ~ 1 900 m， and can also be sown in summer at the altitude of 1 200～1 400 m.
