陇草1号是以不育系Tx623A为母本、苏丹草恢复系89105-2选为父本选育而成的杂交饲草高粱新品种。2016 — 2017年参加甘肃省饲用高粱区域试验，2 a 10点(次)折合平均鲜草产量97 008.15 kg/hm2，较对照增产5.86%。生育期120 d左右，株高329 cm，茎粗1.26 cm，平均分蘖数2.18个，茎秆含糖量131～156 g/kg。干重百分比中，粗蛋白87.0 g/kg、粗灰分84 g/kg、木质素71.8 g/kg、中性洗涤纤维(NDF)629 g/kg、酸性洗涤纤维(ADF)337 g/kg。茎中氢氰酸(HCN)含量8.64 mg/kg，叶中氢氰酸含量15.8 mg/kg。高抗丝黑穗病，发病株率为1.8%；抗叶斑病，抗高粱蚜。

Longcao 1 is a new forage sorghum cultivar， with parents combination of sterile line Tx623A and Sudangrass restorer line 89105-2 Xuan. In 2016 — 2017， the average yield of green forage in 2 a 10 sites (times) was 97 008.15 kg/hm2， 5.86% higher than the control in the Gansu Forage Sorghum Regional Test. The growth period is about 120 d， plant height is 329 cm， main stem diameter is 1.26 cm， average tiller number is 2. 18 and stalk sugar content is 131～156 g/kg. The crude protein mass fraction， crude ash， lignin， NDF and ADF of dry matter percentage are 87.0 g/kg， 84 g/kg， 71.8 g/kg， 629 g/kg and 337 g/kg， respectively. In addition， the HCN content in stalk is 8.64 mg/kg while in leaf is 15.8 mg/kg. It is high resistant to sorghum head smut， with incidence rate of 1.8%， resistant to leaf spot and sorghum aphid.
